This race has sold out National Park Half Marathon the last 7 years and we expect registration to fill up fast. Don’t miss this chance to run in the desert and run the course on Wire Mesa for this year only. Runners will park right at the start line, run the race, then have a short 2 mile shuttle back from the finish line to their vehicles. Zion Canyon Scenic Drive cuts through its main section, leading to forest trails along the Virgin River.

The river flows to the Emerald Pools, which have waterfalls and a hanging garden. Also along the river, partly through deep chasms, is Zion Narrows wading hike.

Finally, you can always trust Yelp. All parking will be near the Start Line. There will not be shuttles from Springdale, Hurricane, or anywhere else, to the start line. All participants will need to drive themselves or be dropped off. You can find our location via this map link. The parking lot will open at am.

Finish Line Shuttles The race will finish at the Wire Mesa Trailhead, about 3 miles away from where runners will be parked. There will be a short shuttle ride back to the parking area from the finish line. Finish line shuttles run between am and pm on a limited basis.
