Calm hopefully seas, small intimate boats, and all around the sound of these giants breathing. We also see Fin Whales, Humpbacks, dolphins, mantas and other wildlife on this tour. We provide our tours on traditional Mexican pangas with new motors, radios, shade and dry storage. Boats hold anywhere from 6 to 13 folks. March 17th Update. Blues appear to be leaving, We still have Fins and Humpbacks.

Our last two excursions Loreto National Marine Park have not seen the Blues however we are still seeing Humpbacks and frisky Fin Whales. Weather has been lovely and we’ve Glacier National Park To Great Falls Mt a wonderful days out on the water, but alas, no Blues.

We are happy to offer tours to see whales however we do not promise Blue Whales at this time. Each boat is equip with: life jackets, radios, emergency beacons, New 4 stroke motors, professional captain.

Wildlife Viewing Along with seeing the largest creatures on earth, we also may see Fin Whales, Humpbacks, dolphins, mantas and other wildlife on this tour.

Picnic Lunch No “box lunch” here! Freshly prepared Mexican specialties ex: Burritos, Empenadas, or Tamalesfresh veggies, fruit, cheese, and corn tortillas for the gluten free. Vegetarians Welcome. Logistics In order to cut down on travel time by boat, to get folks with the whales sooner, and reduce the cost of a tour, we are now meeting South of Loreto at Puerto Esconodido.

We have two options for this tour. Is to meet us in Loreto to be transported down South, 2. Meet us by rental car at our launch location, 3. Beach pick up if you are staying at Loreto National Marine Park del Palmar. Does this look like fun? Book tickets today! We can adjust start times but earlier is better. If Loreto National Marine Park are coming by rental car we can meet you at the API building at Puerto Escondido, If you require a ride, no worries we meet here in Loreto to head South to our launch site.

The ride back provided as well. We can provide directions for the meeting point. This is not required. If folks would like the entirety of their trip dedicated to whale watching, of course we can do so.

Be Sure To Bring Hat, sunglasses, camera, batteries, sunscreen and layers. Mornings start cool, but afternoons warm up. Who they do bother is folks on other boats who have come from all over the world to witness these amazing creatures. If you have a drone you MUST advise us ahead of time.

We are happy to find a solo whale with no observers so as not to bother other whale watchers. Thanks in advance for your understanding. The perfect way to see the best that Baja has to offer. The peacefulness, the scenery and the whales.

The sea is often as flat as a glass pane and teeming with life: seals, whales, mantas, dolphins and of course thousands of fish will greet you in your way to the islands. Coronado is an ancient and extinct volcano, eroded by wind and sea and resulting in an intrincate coastline. The north side of the island consists on steep cliffs and incredible lava formations. The south side offers the prettiest sandy beaches and calmer waters, ideal for swimmers and snorkelers alike. Carmen island is the biggest and the highest. Isla del Carmen has it all, from high limestone cliffs and caverns, to secluded bays, deep underwater walls, pinnacles etc.

It even has its own abbandoned town on its east side! Although not as high as del Carmen, its cliffs and rugged terrain will amaze you as you sail along its coastline. Montserrat and Catalina are the farthest ones and less visited. Their remote location specially Catalana has keep them isolated from thousands of years and created an Eden of life, under and above water. Isla Coronados Black lava, white sand and sea lions!

And island that used to be a volcano, and Loreto Bay National Marine Park shows. The north end is all about lava cliffs and spectacular rock formations, where we can also find a sea lion Loreto Bay National Marine Park and an incredible amount of birds such pelicans, blue footed boobies, terns and frigate birds. The south side in the other hand, offers several white sandy bays and calm waters. The underwater topography is often steep and deep walls and ledges are common in every dive site.

Diving with the sea lions is a big attraction, but do not miss the huge black coral forests that stretch out as far as the eye can reach, and its healthy population of groupers, barracudas, invertebrates and of course tons of reef fish. Expect to find pretty much everything here. The variety is huge! You will need several days to explore this wonderous island.
