Shuttles will take runners from Browning to the start line before the race starting at 4am. The last shuttle will leave for the start line at 5am. Do not be late! There is absolutely no parking or drop off at the start line or finish line. They can park nearby and walk to the finish area.

For spectators staying in Browning, they can take the shuttles to the finish line starting at am. Spectators can park near the finish line at the lots highlighted in orange on the map on the left, or on side roads along businesses nearby.

After parking, spectators should walk to the finish. Here are some helpful links to some of our sponsors as well as general information. Kalispell is a major hub for Glacier National Park.

If lodging is completely full east of the park, Kalispell has options of places to stay. Find options Glacier National Park Marathon the Discover Kalispell website.

There is plenty of space for campers, and is conveniently located at the same location as the race expo. Keep in mind that this is primitive camping. We will provide toilets, water, and campfires. You can sleep in your car, tent, hammock, an RV no hookupsor rent a tent from us for an additional charge. Whichever you choose, you still have to reserve a spot. Campsites do not include cots, sleeping bags, pillows, headlamps, cooking stoves and supplies, or firewood.

Runners who are camping will need to drive to the parking area in Browning to catch the shuttle to the start line race morning.

Upon arrival you will be able to pick the location you want, they are first come first serve. Price is for all days and times listed, even if you don’t stay for the duration. Check out: Campsite checkout will be by Sunday, June 27th, by am. If you reserved Glacier National Park To Great Falls Mt tent you will need to turn it into the camp hosts before you leave.

You can make a reservation as part of your race registration when you sign up! If you’ve already registered, you can log back in and edit your registration to add on a camping option.

It will be the easiest to place to find lodging for race weekend, but will also likely be the first place to fill up. MARY – This is small town north of the race, but it has some good lodging options. Glacier National Park To Great Falls Mt should plan on about a 45 minute drive to and from the race if you stay here. Call or to book directly.

Lodging is sparse on the east side of Glacier National Park. We recommend securing lodging quickly–like now–even before registering for the race unless you plan to camp at the Vacation Races campground.

Do one of these Club Glacier National Park Marathon within Glacier National Park Marathon hours of the end of the race will receive a club hike medallion. Completing the the Trifecta Challenge within 72 hours earns you an official Trifecta pin! Following the Glacier Half Marathon, we will post a link to the website where runners can send us their photos and names.

Good luck! Club Hikes These club hikes are a salute to the hardcore Glacier National Park Marathon us. Unless Going to the Sun Road is open this weekend, the Hidden Lake Club Hike is not accessible and entries will not be accepted for that club hike. We also recommend starting early and bringing bear spray and lots of water!

This race has sold out National Park Half Marathon the last 7 years and we expect registration to fill up fast. Don’t miss this chance to run in the desert and run the course on Wire Mesa for this year only. Runners will park right at the start line, run the race, then have a short 2 mile shuttle back from the finish line to their vehicles. Zion Canyon Scenic Drive cuts through its main section, leading to forest trails along the Virgin River.

The river flows to the Emerald Pools, which have waterfalls and a hanging garden. Also along the river, partly through deep chasms, is Zion Narrows wading hike.

Where Is The Everglades National Park Located

Finally, you can always trust Yelp. All parking will be near the Start Line. There will not be shuttles from Springdale, Hurricane, or anywhere else, to the start line. All participants will need to drive themselves or be dropped off. You can find our location via this map link. The parking lot will open at am.

Finish Line Shuttles The race will finish at the Wire Mesa Trailhead, about 3 miles away from where runners will be parked. There will be a short shuttle ride back to the parking area from the finish line. Finish line shuttles run between am and pm on a limited basis. Runner Drop-off There will be runner drop-off at the start line in the same area as parking.

Please yield to your fellow runners as they head out on the Wire Mesa loop. Stay to the left in this area! Race Morning Parking Location 2-way foot traffic map.

Please be courteous. This is the same location as the race start in the morning. When you finish the race, you may grab a food box, a banana, and a chocolate milk. Feel free to hang out at the finish line, make friends, and cheer on other finishers for a while. Then we encourage you to go explore Zion National Park!

Travel times do not account for traffic. You should expect lots of traffic on race morning, so please leave early! Spectators We are discouraging spectators from congregating at the finish line for everyone’s safety. However, if you do choose to hed to the finish line we ask that you do the following: – Always wear you mask at all times! Only go to the finish line when they are close by.

If you’ve run any of our National Park half marathons before, you may be familiar with our “club hikes” Zion National Park Half Marathon “trifecta” programs. The “Explorer Club” series is our new iteration of this idea! We want you to have as broad or as deep of an experience of our National Parks and their surrounding areas as oissible.

We have created a scavenger hunt made up of all kinds of adventures and experiences you can have here at Zion. Each activity is worth points towards a Zion Explorer badge! They are worth a different number of points based on difficulty and you can choose which to tackle based on your interests.

Whether you have an afternoon or a week in Zion, you should be able to plan an amazing itinerary with these suggestions! While we are phasing out our club hikes and trifecta challenge, these activities are still a part of our new Zion Explorer Club! For a limited time you can continue to earn the Zion National Park Half Marathon medallions or pin in addition to earning points towards your Zion Explorer Club badge.

You won’t need to submit a photo like in year’s past. If you complete any of the official club hikes or the trifecta as a part of the other activities of the Zion Explorer Club, simply check off the activities within the app. If you earn the minimum points to claim the Zion Explorer badge, we’ll also ship any club hike medallions or the the trifecta pins along with it. Completing the the Trifecta Challenge within 72 hours earns you an official Trifecta pin!

Please do not disturb or take items like petrified wood from the park. The Trifecta is comprised of 3 different activities. Located about two miles past the Kolob Canyon entrance of Zion National Park, the trail head will take you into a narrow box canyon to the extremely photogenic alcove. I just want you to know that your races have quickly become a favorite of mine.
